GSA Continues to Educate Kids about How to Have a Safe Home “I'm going to be a firefighter when I grow up so I can teach people about fire safety,” a student at Barry Elementary in Yuba City, CA said. “Code Red Rover is cool. I can't wait to teach everyone at home my new Rover tricks,” another student said. Comments like these were heard from over 400 GSA visitors on April 18, 2007 as The Home Safety Council’s Great Safety Adventure ® continued its West Coast tour through the United States. Carol Barsotti, Field Representative for Representative Wally Herger (R-2nd-CA) stopped by to tour the GSA. Barsotti was impressed with the exhibit and left with all smiles. “The kids seemed to be really engaged in the presentation about home safety,” Barsotti said. All in all, another successful event was held on the West Coast as the GSA educated even more children about the dangers of home safety. |
