Finding Safety Saturday

Coming soon to a Lowe’s near you! The Home Safety Council, Lowe’s and fire and life safety professionals from your community are kicking off National Fire Safety Month with a special, day-long safety celebration. Your local Lowe’s store is planning a day of safety fun for the entire family and the chance to learn how to keep your family safe from fire and other home dangers.
When: Saturday, September 26, 2009
Time: 10:00 am until 2:00 pm
Where: Lowe’s store parking lot
The following Lowe’s stores are partnering with their local fire department to host an expanded Safety Saturday event that will feature a side-by-side burn demonstration to show how quickly a home fire spreads and becomes deadly when it isn’t controlled. The powerful demonstration compares the limited damage in a room that is protected with a home fire sprinkler system with the extensive damage that occurs in a room without a sprinkler.
Visit one of the Lowe’s stores below to see the live side-by-side demonstration. Most demonstrations will take place at 11AM.
